Musician Dave Navarro and his wife Carmen Electra have spent so much time in hotels over the years, they decided to model their Los Angeles home on one.

The couple purchased the house in 2003 and spent a large amount of time and money making it look like the places they'd become accustomed to staying in.

Navarro says: "Carmen and I travel so much that a hotel has become the most comfortable environment for us."

The couple modelled their home in the style of Hollywood's Standard hotel.
