Dead Man's Chest smashes US box office records

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead man's Chest has smashed US box office records by taking $132m (€103m) during its first three days on release.
The Disney sequel, which stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, sailed past Spider-Man's 2002 haul of $114.8m (€89.6m).
The movie's producers are also celebrating a three-fold increase over Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl's $46.6m (€36.4m) opening in 2003.
Superhero movie Superman Returns is a distant second place on the box office chart with $21.4m (€16.7m) closely followed by The Devil Wears Prada's $15.6m (€12.2m) take.
Adam Sandler movie Click and animated adventure Cars round out the top five with $12m (€9.4m) and $10.3m (€8m) respectively.
