Gallagher blasts ageing Stones quality

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has slammed veteran band The Rolling Stones for failing to realise their recent albums will never equal the classic discs they released in the 1960s and 1970s.
The Wonderwall star finds it difficult to understand how the Stones can possibly think their current work is on a par with albums including Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile On Main St.
He tells the UK edition of Maxim: "The Stones said that every time they put out an album they think it's their best and they can't understand why people don't take the new records as seriously as the old ones.
"Well, you're old age pensioners. By all means make records and go on tour, because if people want to see you, fine, but don't expect to be taken seriously.
"Your best work is behind you."
