A woman stalking Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood has been arrested by police in the Czech Republic.

The unidentified female has been served with a restraining order which forbids her to go near 23-year-old Wood.

Police stepped in after the woman approached Wood again while he was filming Everything Is Illuminated in the north of the Czech Republic.

Wood is in the country shooting the tale of an American Jew tracing his family's roots.
