McKenna accuses Greens of turning back on principles

Former Green Party MEP Patricia McKenna says the Green Party's support for the Lisbon Treaty will give 'No' campaigners more credibility.
The party voted in favour of campaigning for a 'Yes' vote in October's referendum at a special meeting of its members in Dublin yesterday.
But Patricia McKenna said the decision shows that once the Greens became part of the "accepted political establishment" they turned their back on their principles.
Meanwhile, the Green Party leader John Gormley has pledged to listen to the party's grassroots when it comes to a review of the Programme for Government.
Chairman of the party Dan Boyle said a number of meetings will be convened over the coming months.
