Rosenborg stunned Chelsea with a superb first-half strike from Miika Koppinen at Stamford Bridge.

The Norwegians took the lead in the 24th minute when Koppinen volleyed home a free-kick from Marek Sapara.

Shot-shy Chelsea had failed to take their chances with Andriy Shevchenko and Salomon Kalou the main culprits.
